Description: This course provides teams members knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs) needed to understand various differences between abuse, dependence and the disease of addiction. This section outlines the helper’s role and responsibility to those struggling and the impact at home and at work. This course teaches team members the various support, intervention and treatment options. This course also provides the latest research and documented results for positive, meaningful connection.
